Our trip is soon to begin. Today, it's cloudy and cold in Champaign. As I look out the window at the barren, snow covered trees, it's hard to imagine the warmth and moist heat of Thailand. In just a few days, Paul and I will be in a new land, a new time zone and beginning a new year. How fortunate! and, I have just finished packing--two days early! What a relief and no pressure for a change.
On New Years Day, we fly from Chicago's O'Hare to Seoul, South Korea. After fourteen hours in flight, we make a quick change of planes. Then, we travel another 5+ hours to Bangkok.
